Fork Designs on the walls
We went for a drive up along the streets behind the Forte Belvedere (re-opened after 5 years) and Davide pointed out these interesting line designs etched into the old walls of Florence. I can’t believe that I never noticed these before today. He told me that these designs were made with forks! Huh, what? Yes, the bricklayers would use forks to make designs in the city walls of Florence. Pretty darn cool.
If any of you art history buffs out there know anything on this topic…please send me information, would love to know more! 🙂
Happy Tuesday everyone!
