Dim sum in Florence Beautiful birthday surprise

After putting Julienne down to sleep last night, I came out of the bedroom holding my pajamas and ready to heat up some pizza…only to find Cesare holding a bouquet of flowers telling me to go out and have fun with Davide! {Insert shock and joy here} 🙂 Davide and Cesare set up a surprise birthday night out for me! I heart you husband – Thank you Cesare!

Dim Sum in Florence

Davide took me to the new (opened one year ago) Asian restaurant, Dim sum on Via dei Neri, 37. Although, we are always a bit skeptical of Asian food in Florence, we had heard such good things about the place that it was hard not to be excited.

Fresh made-to-order Food

We ordered the Shao Mai, Noodles Ban Mian and Manzo Thai. Tea and water is offered with the cover charge and they were attentive with refills.

The minute the Shao Mai came out, I knew that this place exceeded our expectations! Not only was it tasty, it was all so fresh! Our noodles were made-to-order and the chef was entertaining to watch as he stretched the noodles out behind us!

A definite A+ recommendation for Dim Sum Restaurant in Florence – exceptionally fresh and flavorful food with a friendly and attentive staff!
