Biblioteca (Library) Oblate
The Biblioteca Oblate (Via dell’Oriuolo, 26) is my favorite library in Florence, it is located right in the middle of town across the street from the Santa Maria Nuova hospital. There is a small section of foreign language books, a large children’s book area upstairs and free internet.
Great views of the Duomo
One of the best parts of this library is their roof top bar, it has a great open space with views of the Duomo, plenty of tables and chairs and making it a convenient place to study, read or just a nice place to take a break. The bar also holds an aperitivo with music every Tuesday night. This library is definitely worth a visit.
Renewing bonds
Love getting together with old friends and catching up – Julienne loves it too! Joy and Gaby are her new best friends, she dragged Gaby around the entire library – right and left, up and down, thanks for your patience! Even when we went outside, Julienne wanted to continue hanging out through the bar window. Silly rabbit.
Free ice cream cone
When it was time to go home, she did not want to leave her besties, but when we were offered a free empty gelato cone on our way home – she cheered right up! 🙂
