Vogue Fashion Night Out
Yesterday, if you were out in the streets of Florence, you witnessed the hoards of fashion happy people roaming around with shopping bags and goodies shop hopping their way through the city’s second edition of Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. The event is organized by Vogue Italy and the City of Florence and had such a successful turnout in 2012 that the tradition is continuing on.
Kiko Cosmetics Makeover
The shops were open for this special event until 11.30 pm and some retail stores had installations and outdoor demonstrations, cocktail parties with free food and drinks, VIP host and DJ sets galore. It was definitely a feast for the fashion lover. Me, I decided for my Vogue Fashion’s Night Out I would reserve a spot to get a free Kiko Cosmetics Makeover. The special guest makeup artist of the night was Mr. Daniel Makeup the popular YouTube Vlogger.

I watched Margherita and Roberta (who came all the way from Bologna!) get complete makeovers done with Mr. Daniel. They both left smiling and thanking Mr. Daniel, extremely pleased with their new looks!
My Makeover – Dark Heroine
Daniel asked me what look I wanted to go with for my makeover and I said…”let’s go dark”. He decided to use the new limited edition “Dark Heroine” collection and went all-out dark on my eyes. I am not sure if I would ever have an occasion to go this dark, but when I got home I took one layer around my eyes off (see bottom photo) and this I could definitely pull off on a night out. Great job Mr. Daniel!
